MIDNIGHT

The door with no room at the end of a hallway you found as a child. A trapdoor in the floor of your family's basement you never noticed before last year. The mysterious doorway standing in the middle of a forest, just yesterday.

Whatever and whenever it was, you opened it, and you were drawn through a portal - transformed to an anthropomorphic animal and deposited on the streets of the city, Midnight.

All the residents of Midnight came, once, from another world - or so they say, although after a time, some seem to forget what their lives were like before, or how long they've been there. And there is no way to go home again.
